Welcome to 2018, a year with higher expectations for the Nigerian health sector, coming on the back of the tremendous amount of work done last year. For us at Nigeria Health Watch we are excited to continue bringing to the forefront of discussions, the many important issues that affect the Nigerian health sector. This year will be especially critical for the health sector, as the election machinery is rapidly going into motion. We need to ensure that we remain evermore focused, ensuring that health is pushed further up the political agenda.

We are excited for the continuous support from our amazing community of health enthusiasts, advocates and experts. Thank YOU for your incredible feedback and for all you do to make Nigeria’s health sector better every day! We look forward to another year of sharing information, intelligent insights and analysis of the health sector with you and your networks.

Our 2017 Future of Health Conference themed “The Business of Health” brought to the fore discussions about how business principles can be used to improve processes and health systems in Nigeria. Below we have put together a report that highlights each of the speaker’s talks, and lays out a cogent call to action that stresses the urgent need for Universal Health Coverage.

We look forward to your feedback!

We are extremely grateful to all our speakers and partners and look forward to future collaborations as we plan for 2018!

Join us and let’s make the year 2018 a memorable one full of progress and big wins for the Nigerian health sector!
